The Role
The Social Media Manager will report directly to the Marketing Director and will be responsible for developing and implementing creative social media strategies that align with our business goals. You will have the opportunity to lead our social media campaigns, engage with our audience, and foster brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand engagement and drive traffic to our website.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) across all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” manner while cultivating leads and sales.
- Develop and manage content calendars to ensure our messaging is timely, relevant, and engaging.
- Analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive marketing strategies and ensure our social media presence aligns with overall branding.
- Stay up-to-date with new trends, technologies, and social media best practices to enhance our community engagement.
- Organize and host social media events to boost community engagement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Social Media Manager position will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns that have driven engagement and growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to monitor performance and derive insights.
- Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the different social media platforms and best practices for each.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
